This book is an introduction to the tantric understanding of epidemics and diseases. It gives an insightful and unique experimental approach to the field of medicine & diseases of plants, animals and human beings. This book will give a fresh perspective on most diseases that one sees around- especially the incurable diseases whose causes or cures are still unknown.

It is written in the format of traditional agāma & nigama, as a conversation between Maha Siddha Ishaputra & his consort. It highlights the non-conventional approach to diseases, medicine & healing. It focuses on wisdom of ancient Himalayan siddhas which can be seen as the next step of research for the traditional Indian medical science of Ayurveda and encourage the modern medical science to think out of the box. Through this book one gets an idea about how a siddha sees diseases. One will understand what are the current limitation of Ayurveda. One will discover how ancient siddha system classifies different categories of Mahāmāri or intricate diseases whose causes cannot be seen with eyes.

Dhumra means hazy, like some smoke. ‘Kritya’ is that which can cause disease, physical or mental problems and ultimately death. Abhichara is experiments.

This book is starts in Balichowki, Himachal Pradesh and takes one on journey through the different times in life of Maha Siddha Ishaputra. This book covers the conversation that the author heard between Maha Siddha Ishaputra and his consort Mā Padma Priya. The nature of the conversation between Ishaputra and Guru Mā revolved around non-conventional approach to healing and medicine. It talks about the field of medicine beyond the purview of traditional Ayurveda and allopathic systems of medicine.

It answers questions like why one falls sick? Can some God be held responsible for sickness?

The stories in the book takes one on a journey through the healing arts of shamanic practices in Himalaya to Ayurveda, to wisdom on diseases and their causes in the perspective of the ancient Himalayan siddha tradition.

For the first time in mainstream society, one gets to know about the hidden system of siddha ways of classification of diseases (curable and incurable, known and unknown). One gets to learn their recommendations for overcoming the deadly diseases including epidemics and pandemics.

First chapter covers the story which Maha Siddha Ishaputra is telling his consort Mā Padma Priya about his childhood, his illness, the shamanic tradition of Himalaya and his training under siddhas and gurus in deep Himalaya on medicine, healing and diseases.

Second chapter talks about the origin and tradition of Dhumra Kritya Abhichara Vidyā. It also describes various endeavors of Maha Siddha Ishaputra in the field of Ayurveda and the hurdles that he faced at the hand of the government. There are himachali shamanic traditional healing and mantra also given in this chapter.

Third chapter covers the story of a great Maha Siddha who did extensive work on Dhumra Kritya Abhichara. This chapter describes the forms of Dhumra Kritya Abhichara. It covers the classification of various diseases under it and the way they spread. It also talks about their impacts and symptoms on plants, animals and humans. This chapter also introduces one to the tantric practices of Dhumra Kritya Abhichara, its yantra, mantra, experiments and philosophy.

The last chapter covers the ways one can protect from various diseases and disease-causing invisible microorganisms which are all around us.
